You can only register for one DuitNow ID. Your mobile number registered with the Setel app will become your DuitNow ID.

How many DuitNow ID can I register?

Please update your Setel app to the latest version and give the app camera access. You will not be able to scan if the app does not have camera permission.

How do I perform a DuitNow QR transfer to another person?

All DuitNow NAD &amp; Proxy Transfer should be processed or received by the recipient instantly. 
If you are experiencing the following scenarios, most probably a timed-out has happened between Setel and the recipient's bank/e-Wallet.

<li>The recipient has not received the transfer amount.</li>
<li>The amount has been deducted from your Setel account.</li>
<li>The transfer status in your app is "Processing".</li>
</ol>
Don't worry as you should be receiving an update in the Setel app on the next business day about the status of the transfer. The transfer will either be processed or refunded.

Processed The recipient's bank/e-Wallet has received the transfer request and will proceed with crediting it to the recipient's account</li>
<li>
Refunded The amount is refunded and credited back into your Setel account. </li>

Currently, only business-registered QR codes are available for scanning. You will not be able to transfer money using any personal QR codes.
But don't worry! Personal registered QR codes will be coming soon.

Why can't I scan certain DuitNow QR codes?

For DuitNow Business QR, this transfer limit is personalized based on your account, how you spend, and our internal policies to keep things safe. This helps prevent unauthorized transactions, combat risks from money laundering and illicit activities, and keeps your money secure.

My Setel e-Wallet account is not verified yet, can I send money via DuitNow?

Unfortunately, this function is not supported yet.
To complete a DuitNow QR payment to the merchant, you will need to scan the merchant's QR code instead to allow the deduction to happen in your Setel account.
