What is e-KYC?

e-KYC (Electronic Know Your Customer) is a verification process that involves submitting a valid electronic copy of a Malaysian identification document (such as MyKad) along with a selfie for biometric verification. The submission is conducted through the Setel or Setel Lite app.

 

How do I verify my account/perform e-KYC using Setel?

There are 2 methods to verify your account/perform e-KYC for the BUDI MADANI RON95 eligibility check.

Method 1
Through the Profile tab.

Method 2
Through the BUDI95 tile.
Follow the steps below:

  1. Launch the Setel app and tap BUDI95.

  3. Tap Verify account.

  4. Upload your identification document and a selfie. Follow the provided instructions for a successful verification.

    You can verify your account/perform e-KYC by following these steps:

    1. Launch the Setel Lite app and tap Profile.

    How many times do I need to verify my account/perform e-KYC?

    As indicated here, you only need to verify your account/perform e-KYC once for each account.
