The trusted device feature is an additional security measure for your account. It makes sure only your authorised/verified device can make transactions such as making purchases on the PETRONAS Shop, renewing your car insurance, or other actions involving your sensitive information.
There will be a cooling period of 6 hours when you first verify your trusted device to reduce the chances of scammers making unauthorised transactions. During the cooling period, you cannot perform certain transactions and actions. However, the following transactions/actions can still be done.
- Fuelling
- EV charging
- Kedai Mesra purchases
- Café Mesra purchases
- Parking
