The cooling period will last for 6 hours.
How do I remove this cooling period?
The cooling period automatically expires after a certain duration.
What can trigger this cooling period?
The cooling period will be applied for the following actions:
- First-time account registration
- Changing your trusted device or registering your trusted device for the first time
- Increasing your DuitNow QR transfer (to another person) limit
**NOTE
Reducing your DuitNow QR transfer limit will not trigger the cooling period.
Can I still pay when I am under the cooling period?
You can still use the Setel app for transactions below the limit. Check out our transaction limit article for more info.
If you increase your DuitNow QR transfer (to another person) limit, the new limit will only be applied after the cooling period. Until then, you cannot perform transactions above the current limit.
How will I know if a cooling period is active?
You will receive a push notification and a message in your inbox.
