These are the criteria for a successful road tax renewal:

• The vehicle has an active insurance policy.
• Road tax is maximum 2 months away from expiry date.
• The vehicle is less than 20 years old.
• The vehicle owner is between 18-75 years old.
• The vehicle is not blacklisted by Jabatan Pengangkutan Jalan Malaysia (JPJ) or Polis Diraja Malaysia (PDRM) due to outstanding summons.
• The vehicle is not used for e-Hailing purposes.
• The vehicle is not an electric vehicle (EV).
