What is this DuitNow RM7 cashback campaign?
Setel users will be able to get RM7 cashback* and 1 Mesra point per RM1 spent* when they transact using DuitNow QR based on the following:
- RM3 cashback with a minimum spending of RM20 for the 1st transaction.
- RM2 cashback with a minimum spending of RM20 for the 2nd transaction.
- RM2 cashback with a minimum spending of RM20 for the 3rd transaction.
*Capped at RM7 per user throughout the campaign.
*Capped at 500 Mesra points per customer per month throughout the campaign.
Who is eligible for the campaign?
This campaign is only open to existing Setel Fuel users who have not started using Setel DuitNow.
What is the campaign period?
The campaign runs from 27 November 2023 to 27 February 2024. However, Setel reserves the right to terminate, change, amend, or add any terms and conditions to this promotion without any prior notice.
How do I make payment at the selected outlets?
Payment can be made by scanning the merchant’s QR code displayed at the counter.
How much do I need to spend to be eligible for the RM7 cashback reward?
You will need to spend a minimum of RM20 for 3 separate transactions. You will get RM3 cashback on your first transaction and RM2 for your second and third transaction.
How will I receive the cashback?
Once payment is made for eligible purchases, the cashback will be automatically rewarded to your Setel Wallet and you will receive a notification.
You can tap Profile, and select Payment history to check. It will be recorded in your transaction history.
Does the cashback have an expiry date?
No, you can use your cashback for payment via Setel Wallet as long as your account is active.

Can I use Setel if I'm not a Malaysian resident?
Yes, you can use Setel as long as you have a valid phone number and a valid payment method.
However, digital Mesra card activation (points redemption) will require a valid IC number.
Can I combine this reward with other promotions or discounts?
The DuitNow RM7 cashback reward cannot be combined with other promotional offers or discounts offered by Setel unless explicitly stated.
Will the DuitNow RM7 cashback campaign be extended beyond the campaign period?
There are currently no plans to extend the campaign period. However, any updates regarding this will be announced on our platform.
