How do I sign up for Cardless PETRONAS SmartPay?
What if I have a physical PETRONAS SmartPay card?
To sign up for Cardless PETRONAS SmartPay, you must:
- Be successfully incorporated with the Companies Commission of Malaysia (Suruhanjaya Syarikat Malaysia).
- Have a valid business registration number.
Step 1: Submitting the sign-up form
- Launch the Setel app and tap on View all.
- Select Fuel for fleets or companies.
- Enter the required details, then tap Apply Now.
- Fill in the Company information and Fleet manager details.
Note: The fleet manager will receive login access to the Cardless SmartPay dashboard. - Review the information, tick the consent box, then tap Submit.
Once the application is submitted, the fleet manager will be able to log in to the dashboard.
Step 2: Activating the account
- In the dashboard, the fleet manager should tap Activate Now.
- The fleet manager will be redirected to an Airtable form to provide additional information and upload the following documents:
- All directors' IC
- SSM Section 17/SSM certificate
- SSM business profile
- Application form (download here)
- SKDS/SKPS approval letter (If already obtained)
The activation process will take up to 2 working days. You’ll receive an email once your account has been activated.

What if I have a physical PETRONAS SmartPay card?
There will be no transfer of credit over to your new Cardless PETRONAS SmartPay account as it will be set up as a new account.
