How do I pay for fuel using BUDI MADANI with Setel?

There are 2 methods to pay for fuel using BUDI MADANI with Setel.

Method 1: Pay from vehicle

Follow the steps below:

  1. Launch the Setel app and tap Purchase fuel.

  2. Select the RON95 or Diesel fuel type.

  3. Enable the Use BUDI MADANI toggle, then tap Pay.

    If your monthly eligible balance is still available, you will be paying for fuel at BUDI95 price. The eligible balance will be updated immediately once fuelling is completed.

Method 2: Scan & pay at the counter

Note: The Setel QR code can be used to pay for fuel and Kedai Mesra items in one single transaction.

Follow the steps below:

  1. Head to the Kedai Mesra counter and inform the cashier you’d like to purchase BUDI MADANI fuel with Setel. Specify your pump number and fuel amount. If you’re also buying Kedai Mesra items, you can combine them with your fuel purchase.
     
  2. Launch the Setel app and tap Pay.

  3. Check that the Use BUDI MADANI toggle is enabled. Show your QR code to the cashier for payment.

  4. Upon successful payment, proceed to the pump for refuelling.

How do I enable One-tap fuelling for BUDI MADANI?

You can also pay for fuel in One-tap using BUDI MADANI. Follow the steps below to enable One-tap fuelling.

  1. Launch the Setel app and tap View all.

  2. Select One-tap fuelling.

  3. Tap the toggle to enable One-tap fuelling.

  4. Choose your preferred amount to refuel (in RM or litres).

  5. Select RON95 as the preferred fuel type, then enable the Use BUDI95 toggle. Tap Save.

If you have already enabled One-tap fuelling, you can update your BUDI MADANI settings by following the steps above.

Alternatively, if you are at the station, you can update your BUDI MADANI settings from the homepage.

How does it work if I want to pump RM40 of fuel but I have insufficient eligible balance?

We will allow you to continue buying RON95 or Diesel fuel even if you don't have enough eligible balance.

If you have some eligible balance left, the system will:

  • Use up all your remaining eligible balance at subsidised price.
  • Charge the rest at pump price.

If you have used up all eligible balance, pump price will be applied.
