What is the campaign period?

1 March 2024 until 15 May 2024


Who can participate in the campaign?

This campaign is open to all customers who fulfil the requirements below:

  1. Registered and active PETRONAS Mesra loyalty programme member
  2. Customers holding Malaysian citizenship; and
  3. Customers aged eighteen (18) and above.

How do I participate in the campaign?

There are a few ways to participate in the campaign as per the explanation below:

Participants will qualify one (1) entry per transaction for the Campaign based on the following:

  • Minimum spend of RM40 per transaction at any PETRONAS station on the following product:
    • PETRONAS Primax 97 with Pro-Race;
    • PETRONAS Primax 95 with Pro-Drive;
  • Minimum spend of RM10 per transaction at any PETRONAS Mesra store in any PETRONAS station except for cigarettes, prepaid top-ups, Touch N’ Go and ePay.
  • Minimum spend of RM10 on Setel (any transactions on Setel app or paying via Setel app) in a single transaction to get one (1) entry across all Setel app's features as listed below excluding the purchase of fuel:
    • Café Mesra;
    • Retail & online payments, e.g.: Setel QR Pay at counter, Deliver2Me (except for cigarettes,
    • prepaid top-ups, Touch N’ Go, and ePay), PETRONAS Shop;
    • Motor & Takaful insurance;
    • Road tax renewal;
    • EV charging;
    • Auto assistance;
    • Parking; and
    • Petronas AutoExpert service center.
  • Key-in mobile number on the Outdoor Payment Terminal (OPT) at the pump-dispenser or Cashier Display System (CDS) at Kedai Mesra checkout counter upon completing a transaction or using Setel app to qualify for the campaign entry(s).

What are the prizes for this campaign?

Grand prize
RM15,000 Cash prize

  • RM5,000 Cash prize
  • 1-year free fuel
  • RM250 Setel Voucher
  • 10,000 Mesra Rewards Points

Do I need to register after using PETRONAS' new 'mobile number' feature to qualify for participation in this campaign?

YES, customers are required to register their used mobile numbers to qualify for entry into the campaign.

If I use my physical Mesra Card, will I still be eligible to earn contest entries?

NO, only customers who key in their mobile number* upon completing the transaction or use the Setel app will be eligible to earn contest entries.

What constitutes usage of the Setel app to be eligible to earn contest entries?

Earning contest entries via usage of the Setel app will include the following scenarios:

  • Minimum spend of RM10 on Setel in a single transaction across all of Setel’s features (excluding fuel and DuitNow QR)
  • Minimum spend of RM10 on Kedai Mesra or RM40 on fuel in a single transaction

*Customer must make sure their Mesra Rewards Digital Card is activated in the Setel app OR they can scan the unique Mesra Rewards membership barcode available via the Setel app when making payment


Can I still be eligible for the contest if I purchase LPG Gas or Lubricant at PETRONAS station?

YES, customers can still be eligible to participate in the contest for purchase of LPG Gas or Lubricant at PETRONAS station only.

To qualify, the customer is required to key in their mobile number upon completing the transaction OR make the payment using the Setel app.


Can I still be eligible for the contest when I service my car at PETRONAS AutoExpert service center?

YES, customers can still be eligible to participate when servicing their cars at PETRONAS AutoExpert if they make the payment using the Setel app ONLY.


What is the spend duration for me to be eligible for the grand prizes?

For the grand prize category, Mesra members need to cumulatively spend RM700 from 1 March 2024 until 15 May 2024.

It's important to note that each customer is required to enter their mobile number upon completing the transaction or use the Setel app to qualify for the campaign entry(s).


What is the spend duration for each month for me to be eligible for the monthly prizes?

Spend duration based on prizes as per the below table:

Spending Period-1 1 March 2024 – 31 March 2024
Spending Period-2 1 April 2024 – 15 May 2024

How will winners be selected for the grand and monthly prizes?

Grand Prize - Winners with a cumulative spend on fuel of RM700 throughout the Campaign Period will be selected by PDB via a computerized selection system, witnessed by the appointed authorized internal auditor.

How will I be informed that I am the winner of this campaign?

Shortlisted winners will receive a call from PETRONAS Mesralink to verify their details and answer simple questions before declaring them as winners.

Eligible winners will also receive an official email from PETRONAS to notify them about winning and how to claim the prize from PETRONAS after the announcement has been made on @PETRONASbrands social media channels and PDB’s website: mymesra.com.my


Can PETRONAS staff or participating partners take part in this campaign?

NO, all PETRONAS Group of companies, its subsidiaries, agency/organization and participating partners who are involved in organizing this campaign will not be eligible to participate in this campaign.


Can SmartPay customers take part in this campaign?

NO, as stated in the terms and conditions of this campaign.


If I am chosen as a monthly prize winner, can I also qualify to be a grand prize winner?

NO, every winner is entitled to win only one (1) prize throughout the campaign period.

Can I combine my fuel purchase with PETRONAS Kedai Mesra items in a single receipt?

YES, you can combine your fuel and PETRONAS Kedai Mesra purchases in a single receipt.

However, only fuel purchases will be counted to qualify for the Grand prize winner with a minimum spend of RM700 throughout the campaign period.
