What is this 3% Cashback campaign?

Setel users will be eligible for 3% cashback for every purchase made via Setel for physical or online stores (not applicable for Kedai Mesra), parking, road tax, auto assistance, EV charging, or Deliver2Me with a RM5 cap per month. The 3% Cashback campaign is not applicable for the following purchases:

  1. Fuel
  2. DuitNow
  3. Kedai Mesra
  4. Motor Insurance/ Takaful

What is the campaign period?

The campaign runs from 1 November 2023 to 31 December 2023. However, Setel reserves the right to terminate, change, amend, or add any terms and conditions to this promotion without any prior notice.


How do I make payment via Setel?

Payment can be made by displaying your unique Setel code for the cashier to scan or by scanning the merchant’s Setel QR code displayed at the counter.


How much do I need to spend to be eligible for the 3% cashback reward?

You will need to spend a minimum of RM1 to be eligible for the 3% cashback reward.


How will I receive the 3% cashback?

Once payment is made for the eligible purchases, the 3% cashback will be automatically rewarded to your e-Wallet in the Setel app and you will receive a notification of the reward.

How many times can I be rewarded with the 3% cashback?

You will be rewarded with 3% cashback until the cashback has reached the maximum cap amount of RM5 per month.


Does the cashback credited have an expiry date?

No, you can use the cashback for payment via Setel Wallet as long as your account is active.

Can I use Setel if I'm not a Malaysian resident?

Yes, you can use Setel as long as you have a valid phone number and a valid payment method. However, digital Mesra card activation (points redemption) will require a valid IC number.


Can I combine this reward with other promotions or discounts?

The 3% cashback reward cannot be combined with other promotional offers or discounts offered by Setel unless explicitly stated. However, the promotions can be combined with merchants' in-store discounts if applicable.


Will the 3% Cashback campaign be extended beyond the campaign period?

There are currently no plans to extend the campaign period. However, any updates regarding this will be announced on our platform.
