Idle/overstay fees are fees implemented on certain chargers (by Charge Point Operators) to encourage EV users to move their vehicles after prolonged charging periods.

Gentari (overstay fee)

ChargeEV (idle fee)
AC charger RM1.00/min after 4 hours RM 0.50/min after 20 minutes grace period once charging stops.
DC charger RM1.50/min after 1 hour


Idle fees are applied after the vehicle has been fully charged but has not been unplugged.

Overstay fees are applied after a specific duration (set by the Charge Point Operators).

We will send a push notification before the idle/overstay fee begins. 

**NOTE

Please ensure that you have enabled push notifications for the Setel app.
